Graduated in Law from the Universidad Veracruzana, with a thesis entitled “Controversy Solution in Antidumping Matters". He received an honorific mentioned in his professional exam, and received the highest grade average in his generation.
He has a Master's Degree on Law with a Specialization in Constitutional Law in the Postgraduate Study Division in the School of Law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México; participated in a course on Taxes at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He is currently studying a Doctorate in Law at distance from the University of Almería, Spain.
He works as a head partner at the Litigation Group. He has represented national and international clients in important controversies, arbitrations, conciliations and inconformity procedures before the Ministry of Public Administration.
He is also a joint titleholder at the Energy and Infrastructure Group. He has provided counsel to government and corporate clients in matters of oil, gas, petro-chemistry, electricity, renewable energy, roads, and water; national and international public tenders, concessions and service projects.
He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association of Attorneys, the National Corporate Attorney Association (ANADE), the CCI Arbitration Commission and Potentia, Private Energy and Petroleum Club.
He is a professor of Constitutional Law and Private International Law at the Universidad Veracruzana; of Amparo Process and Trial Theory, as well as of Jurisprudence and Contemporary constitutional Law modules in the Master’s Degree in Constitutional Law and Amparo offered by the Universidad de Jalapa. He has offered different conferences on Public Contracts and Energy Law.
